Raajeev is an Executive Director with the Governance, Risk & Compliance Services (GRCS) practice of KPMG India.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Raajeev’s total experience spans over 22 years across professional service firms and industry. He has been in the firm for over four years and leads the KPMG’s transport advisory practice in India.

Raajeev keenly focuses on the aviation sector and has advised several companies in this sector, including airports operators, regulator, airlines and companies in related services. Among the projects led by Raajeev, notable engagements included advising operators of both Mumbai & Delhi airport during the operations transition from the Airport Authority of India (AAI). Raajeev has also led projects advising airlines in improving their operating processes. He leads the KPMG’s thought leadership in aviation sector with annual release on the outlook of the aviation sector.

Raajeev’s other experience spans a cross section of industries, to include Oil & gas, FMCG, metals and mining and manufacturing. His strengths include performing risk-based internal audits, process reviews, operational performance improvement and assessment of Information Technology (IT) security risks within the context of the organization business needs.

Raajeev’s industry experience included him servicing as head of Assurance at Coca-Cola India and Vedanta Resources, which is a large Indian conglomerate in metals and mining.
